Canal Alliance is seeking virtual and in-person volunteer teacher’s aides for our Spring 2024 ESL classes. Volunteers assist in a class one evening per week from 7:45 pm to 10:00 pm Pacific Time. Our trimester will run from January 22 – April 18, 2024.
For a portion of each class, aides work in the classrooms or break out rooms to help a small group of student`s complete exercises and activities that may include speaking, listening, reading and writing practice. The role is an excellent opportunity for people interested in language instruction or in learning about the ESL field and is also a rewarding experience for anyone who wants to support the immigrant community.
