Citizenship Classes

Semester dates: Monday, January 22 to Wednesday, April 17, 2023. 

Schedule: The citizenship class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM. We only accept students who can attend 2 days per week.

Classes will be online using Zoom. The classes and books are free. Students without computers who qualify will receive a Chromebook and hotspot. (Subject to availability) 

We only accept students who have applied for citizenship with the United States Citizenship and  Immigration Services office (USCIS) and are waiting for a naturalization interview.  

This application is only for the citizenship class. If you want to file a legal case for citizenship, please contact Canal Alliance’s Immigration Legal Services team for a consultation. 

The application is available online from Monday, November 27 through Friday, December 1, 2023. 

Please apply early as space is limited. We will accept applications on a first come, first served basis. Applying does not guarantee a place in the class.
