Canal Alliance’s PACE Program Receives Grant from Wells Fargo

Canal Alliance is proud to announce that it has received a $25,000 grant from Wells Fargo to support our Policy and Civic Engagement (PACE) program. This grant will help to advance the five key initiatives of PACE which seeks to advocate for affordable housing, improve transportation equity, mitigate sea-level rice and expand voter participation.

Catching Up with Ria Espinoza at Point Reyes National Seashore

Last time we checked in with Ria Espinosa, a graduate of our UP! program, was in 2022. She had just obtained her undergraduate degree at Cal Poly Humboldt, had started as the Race and Equity Intern for the city of Arcata, and was looking to further her career. Now, one year later, Ria is the Bilingual Environmental Educator at Point Reyes National Seashore (PRNS).
