San Rafael Local Market vendor fair makes debut

Residents enjoyed music, food, shopping and family activities at the inaugural San Rafael Local Market vendor fair on Saturday.
The event, produced by the San Rafael Leadership Institute, a program of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, was held at the Canal Alliance headquarters at 711 Grand Ave.
The fair was designed to celebrate small business owners and entrepreneurs, featuring six graduates of Canal Alliance’s entrepreneurship programs: a pastry-maker, a florist, a taquero, a coffee maker, and a beauty supply provider.
