Day: February 3, 2021

In 2018, after dedicating two years as a stay-at-home mom, Jen pivoted professionally and accepted a position at a nonprofit organization in Marin County. At that same time, she joined Canal Alliance’s dedicated community of donors who make a monthly recurring gift by becoming a member of the Canal Alliance
For 16 years, Canal Alliance has partnered with Dominican University’s Service-Learning Program. As a main component of the program, Dominican students are placed within programs at Canal Alliance and other community-based organizations and commit to working with them for a minimum of two hours per week for a full 15-week
Through an exciting new partnership with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Canal Alliance will participate in the development of more effective measures for COVID-19 testing, resource distribution and vaccine distribution in under-resourced, Latino-immigrant communities.
