SUPPORT FOR TODAY, TOMORROW, AND BEYOND
We address everyday obstacles, first.
First things first. We know that in order to pursue one’s dreams, the obstacles and challenges of everyday life must first be addressed. Our strategic, stabilizing, and ongoing services provide the foundational support necessary for clients and community members to thrive. We provide access to quality, nutritious food and problem-solving assistance for the hurdles of everyday life.
Additionally, we provide trauma-informed, bilingual support groups to our community, as well as wayfinding support for licensed therapists. These programs support the mental and emotional well-being of our clients and are led by a culturally-competent staff that understands the unique experiences of our community.
These core programs work together to create an environment where individuals can find stability, reclaim their agency, and move forward with confidence — knowing that their basic needs are met, and their well-being will be supported.
Immediate Needs
Daily life is full of challenges. Our culturally competent, bilingual case managers provide guidance and support as obstacles arise, assisting clients with health care paperwork, utility assistance, wage recovery, school enrollment forms, and more.
Our case managers are not just helping with tasks — they are trusted allies in the community, helping with wayfinding and providing compassionate support when new challenges arise.
Food Pantry
Access to quality food and the cost of nutritious options is a constant challenge for our community, especially with the rising food prices in our country. We are committed to alleviating this burden. We partner with the San Francisco Marin Food Bank and ExtraFood to offer a weekly food pantry, providing families with free access to fresh, nutritious foods including fruits, vegetables, proteins, and other essential groceries. This vital service ensures that families don’t have to choose between putting food on the table and meeting other basic needs.
By making nutritious food accessible, we help strengthen the foundation for health and well-being, allowing our community members to focus on building brighter futures without the constant stress of food insecurity.
Mental Health
Emotional well-being can be a challenge for anyone, and it can be especially difficult for immigrants whose journeys are often filled with unique stresses, traumas, losses, and transitions. We understand the deep impact that these experiences can have, which is why we offer bilingual wayfinding support for those seeking the aid of professional therapists or coaches. As with all of our programs, we aim to offer or identify supports that address the specific needs expressed by the community, ensuring that support is both accessible and relevant.
We are committed to helping our clients strengthen their emotional well-being as they build healthy, fulfilling lives.
