General operating support is essential to the ongoing operations and operational flexibility of all non-profits, and Canal Alliance is no exception. Funders that provide unrestricted funding allow the agency to adapt to changing circumstances, respond to emerging opportunities, and address unforeseen challenges. Now, with federal programs and funds in limbo, general operating support is more essential than ever.
With this in mind, today we want to recognize Bank of Marin for providing a recent grant of $10,000 to Canal Alliance, one of a series of regular support that began in 2021. Their ongoing contributions enable Canal Alliance to remain agile, ensuring that we can navigate uncertainties, adapt to evolving community needs, and focus on our mission of supporting immigrant and Latino families in Marin County.
