As the need for immigration legal services continues to grow, Canal Alliance is expanding the ways we support families facing urgent legal challenges. Our Immigration Legal Services team already provides trusted legal guidance that helps families understand their rights, navigate complex immigration processes, and remain together. By strengthening our pro bono legal program, we’ll be able to extend that support even further—bringing more volunteer attorneys into our work so that more families can receive timely, high-quality legal assistance when they need it most.
Thanks to our partnership with UnidosUS, we’ll be able to build on this existing work by increasing our capacity to respond to urgent immigration cases while continuing to provide the comprehensive support our community relies on. Together, we’re helping ensure that immigrant families have access to trusted legal services, critical resources, and the support they need to feel safe, informed, and empowered.
