As we close out 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what this year has asked of immigrant families — and how our full Canal Alliance community has risen to meet these challenges. It has been a hard year, marked by fear and uncertainty for far too many of our neighbors. And still, I’ve also witnessed something powerful: people choosing solidarity, compassion, and action.
That’s what your support makes possible. Not just services, but a steady presence — accurate information when rumors spread, culturally responsive support when stress runs high, practical help when families are trying to keep moving forward, and lasting systems change to make Marin a place where we can all thrive.
To say thank you, we put together a short year-end video featuring just a few members of the incredible Canal Alliance community: staff, volunteers, supporters, and community leaders. I hope their voices capture what I can’t fully convey in words: what it feels like when a community shows up, and how much hope it creates. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch.
