BUS OPERATOR TRAINING

• Training Schedule:
  • Tuesdays from 6:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Thursdays from 8:00am – 4:00 (two weeks)
  • Saturdays from 8:00am – 4:00pm (one week) 
  • Duration: twelve weeks 
• Location:
  • Hybrid. (Mainly online with three days in person in San Rafael.)

• Requirements:
  • Age 19 +
  • Work permit
  • Clean driving record
  • Education:
    • high school diploma 
    • or GED/HISET
    • or successful completion of a skills test
  • English level: intermediate/advanced
• Skills Taught:
  • Bus operating training
  • Class B license acquisition
  • Customer service, rules of driving a bus
  • Interviewing, and resume building
  • Mentorship support
