HOUSING & EMPLOYMENT LEGAL AID

Canal Alliance is proud to partner with Legal Aid of Marin (LAM) to offer office hours that connect our clients directly with trusted legal professionals.

During these sessions, clients can visit the Canal Alliance’s neighborhood location and meet with LAM staff members to receive guidance and support on legal matters. This partnership helps make critical legal resources more accessible to our community — right here in the neighborhood.

During these office hours, LAM provides guidance in key areas, including:

• Housing (eviction defense, foreclosure counseling, tenant rights, and homelessness prevention)
• Employment (wage enforcement, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination)
• Marin Community Court program, which offers alternative sentencing and support for low-resource individuals.
