A driver’s license is of great importance in the United States because it is the primary form of identification. It not only allows you to drive a vehicle legally, but it is also used for practically any public or private legal procedure and banking transactions.

Anyone in California, regardless of their immigration status, can apply for a California driver’s license under the AB 60 law.
