Giving Marin Awards $75,000 to nonprofits
Giving Marin Community Partnership has awarded a record $75,000 in financial awards to 12 nonprofit organizations for their work serving Marin residents.
The organizations honored during a virtual event Feb. 25 were Bayside Martin Luther King Jr. Academy Foundation — Art Plus, Canal Alliance, Ceres Community Project, Community Action Marin, Community Institute for Psychotherapy, Family & Children’s Law Center, Gilead House, Marin Foster Care Association, NovatoSpirit, Project Avary, Sparkle Foundation and WildCare. Each nonprofit received $5,000 to $10,000.
