We seek “on call” drivers that would be willing to transport:
A) Clients in our Immigration and Family Resources Programs to various medical appointments, often to UCSF or Oakland Children’s Hospital, and judicial appointments
B) Students enrolled in our Youth Educational Development Programs to field sites.
There is a huge need for this within these programs here. Essentially, as the need is determined, we would contact those in our bank to help us.
Drivers only need to have some weekday availability. Interested individuals must have a good driving record, determined by a third party insurance agency. We will need to make a copy of your DL and automobile insurance for our records. We may be able to provide a stipend for mileage in the event you drive your own vehicle.
