Alexis Rodriguez enrolled in Canal Alliance's youth program when she was in middle school. She faced many challenges during her years at Davidson and because she was almost expelled, she was not permitted to attend her 8th grade graduation ceremony.
She had a rough start to her high school years as well, but her dedication and passion to help her community allowed her to turn that negative energy into positive energy.
During her high school years Alexis' demeanor changed and she found the value of education and community leadership. She has always been extremely supportive of Canal Alliance and is often one of the first to help out with anything the program needs. Alexis graduated from high school in 2009 and is currently going to College of Marin. She works at Canal Alliance as the Youth Administrative Intern.
