Originally from Jalisco Mexico, Saul came to California in 1985 after completing his education on technical drafting engineering.
In 2001, Saul began working at Canal Alliance’s front desk and was quickly promoted to family advocate and probation specialist. In his current role as Community Leadership Coordinator, he works directly with parents of students in our youth program, and also coordinates Familias Aliadas de Marin, a peer-counseling group and Parent Project, a parenting skill sprogram. He also particpates in the Thriving Families Initative, and is a recipient of the National Fatherhood of the Year award.
“I get a lot of satisfaction living in the Canal community and watching families make improvements and become self sufficient,” says Saul.
Saul lives in the Canal neighborhood with his wife and their four children.
