Rebecca Freeman

Rebecca-2Rebecca is an immigration attorney and the newest member of Canal Alliance’s legal team. Rebecca earned her BA in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College, her MSc in Development Studies from The London School of Economics, and her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2009. Rebecca gained immigration experience at JustNeighbors in Northern Virginia and asylum experience at Holland & Knight LLP in San Francisco.

A Berkeley native, Rebecca has long been committed to social justice. At Canal Alliance, she is excited to be working on U Visas, VAWA cases, and family-based immigration. Rebecca is fluent in English and Spanish
