Raquel joined Canal Alliance in 2008 as the Middle School Youth Coordinator. She creates and implements the Middle School academic curriculum. Raquel also facilitates the High School leadership group, Las Chicas. “I love working directly with the students. They’re so optimistic and resilient, it’s impressive. These students have a lot to teach and contribute to this world.”
Raquel grew up in the Bay Area, and left to attend Tufts University in Boston, MA. She received her BA in International Relations in 2008. Raquel’s glad to be back in California, and currently lives in San Francisco.
