Paula Randall

Paula began working at Canal Alliance in July 2009. She is a graduate of the University of Montana, and has masters degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Toledo, the latter in Information Systems with a specialty in Community Information.  Paula worked as a trainer/educator, a department director and a communications/fundraising consultant in the health and behavioural health fields, with forays into aging and women’s services. She has worked in the Central American solidarity movement.

As Grants Manager, Paula is responsible for raising money from foundation and corporation donors, including researching, tracking and writing grants that help funders understand the value and impact of the agency’s services.

“One of the joys of my job is seeing the children and babies whose lives are better because of Canal Alliance’s services and staff.”

After two decades in the Sonoran Desert/Tucson, Paula moved to San Francisco to live with her partner Cherry. For fun? Paula likes spending time in nature, doing art, cooking, attending plays/baseball games/etc., and visiting Montana to see extended family.
