A Canal neighborhood resident, Pamela was born in Bolivia, and came to the United States in 2000 to further her education. She attended College of Marin and later transferred to San Francisco State University, where in 2007 she received her BA in Broadcast Journalism and Video Production. She is currently working on attaining an Integrated Marketing Certificate from San Francisco State.
Pamela joined the Canal Alliance team in 2003, working as a college intern in the Youth Scholarship Program. After graduating from college she became our Multimedia Coordinator working closely with both the after school program and the Development Department creating multimedia projects for both. In 2011, Pamela was promoted to become Canal Alliance's first Marketing Director, working on developing marketing strategies for the agency. “I love seeing our community thrive through the work we do.” Pamela also worked at the Spanish TV station Azteca America and the Novato Public Access TV.
