Originally from Mexico, Lupita became acquainted with Canal Alliance while fulfilling community service requirements. Shortly after completing her service hours, she was hired to manage Canal Alliance's front desk, a position she held for several years before being promoted to Family Advocate.
As an advocate, Lupita works with clients to determine their immediate needs: housing, medical, domestic violence issues or unpaid wages. She then directs them to Canal Alliance programs or to other appropriate local agencies. Sometimes she only sees a person once, but often Lupita case-manages a client and their families until they become stable.

Originally from Mexico, Lupita is bilingual. She lives in San Rafael with her husband and son.
