Joshua Castro

JoshuaCJoshua Castro joined Canal Alliance in 2008. Before joining the Canal Alliance he worked as the Volunteer Services Assistant at Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership.

He is originally from Dubuque, Iowa, where he was a volunteer for different organizations most of his life. His parents still live there.

Joshua’s inspiration to keep doing what he does is thinking of the struggles that his paternal grandparents went through, while trying to raise a family after migrating to the United States from Mexico.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Psychology.
