Janice began working at Canal Alliance in April 2007. She's a graduate of the UC Berkeley, and received her MSW from California State University San Jose where she wrote her thesis: Mental Health Care and Latino Youth. Prior to her position with Canal Alliance, Janice was the Director of Development & Alumni Relations at University of San Francisco School of Law.
As Development Director, Janice is responsible for creating and implementing development strategies that will expand the public's awareness of Canal Alliance and measurably increase financial support in all areas of the agency.

Janice is the mother of three and lives in San Rafael.
