Bob Jackson

BobBob started his career here with San Rafael Canal Ministry in 1999 as the Computer Program Supervisor where he guided the youth and adult technology programs.  When Canal Ministry and Canal Community Alliance merged in 2005, he led the sophisticated technology integration which involved PC and Macintosh computer networks, phone & email systems and websites. He continues to support the technology needs of Canal Alliance as IT Director.

He serves on the Steering Committee of the Marin SparkPoint Center and on the Board of Directors of Canal Housing Alliance which owns 12 affordable housing units in the Canal.

Bob says “I’m really passionate about working with people looking for resources to become self-sufficient. The Canal is a wonderful place to be.”

A Marin County native, Bob now lives in San Francisco. His previous work experience includes working as an Environmental Engineer and real estate manager. He holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. For fun, he enjoys improving his Spanish, bike riding and traveling to wine regions of the world.
