A 1990 graduate of Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley, Alyssa has practiced immigration law at Canal Alliance since 1998. In addition to managing caseloads, she has trained attorneys, law students and advocates for immigration and refugee laws, and provided legal education to Central American communities in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.

Alyssa is fluent in Spanish. She lives in San Pablo with her husband and two dogs, and wishes she shot better pool than she actually does.
