Scholarship FAQ |
Can I apply to this scholarship if I am only taking 1 or 2 classes?
Yes, but you must be a degree seeking student. You must be pursuing a bachelors
degree or a vocational/certificate program.
I don’t know what college I will be attending in the fall can I still apply to the
scholarship?
You can apply to the scholarship if you do not know what college you will be
attending in the fall. However if you are selected to receive the scholarship you
must be enrolled in an accredited university/college.
Why do you need to know how many units I am going to take?
Scholarships are awarded based on your enrollment status. We need to know how
many units you will take to award you accordingly.
Can I apply to the scholarship if I am undocumented?
Any student regardless of immigration status is welcomed to apply to the
scholarship.
With the aid of College Access Foundation, Canal Alliance is able to offer graduating seniors and continuing college students scholarships to attend college. We provide scholarships and academic support to all students pursuing higher education.
This year the Youth Scholarship Program will be visiting the University of California at Berkeley. In the past we've visited the capuses of UC Santa Cruz, UC Davis, and Stanford University.
All graduating seniors who are AB-540 eligible will be able to submit a DREAM Application to qualify for a CAL Grant.
