Each of the 60 Family Empowerment families is assigned to a specific case manager in our Family Resources staff. The case manager meets regularly with the family to ensure that they are accessing all the resources they need, such as emergency financial support, financial planning and budgeting, wage recovery, access to healthcare, domestic violence prevention and support, and emergency food assistance. In addition, the case manager can collaborate with YEDP staff at the family’s request to address issues related to schoolwork, academic progress, or school disciplinary issues.
