Middle School
Academic Intensive Forty-eight middle school students identified at risk of failing classes by Davidson Middle School are recruited to join Canal Alliance's YEDP middle school program.
Students receive not only tutoring assistance but also produce four academic projects each year. The project-based curriculum helps students develop critical thinking skills; English reading, writing, and speaking; mathematics; and computer skills.
With this extra support, many of our middle school students soon achieve honor roll, mostly A's and B's.

Middle School Leadership Groups
Students join one of three Leadership Groups that explore confidence, teamwork, communication, respect, and leadership. Each group performs at least one self-directed community service project per year.
Middle School Summer Session The Summer Session is a five-week summer sessions that helps students, grades 4-8, maintain their momentum in academics, language, and computer skills. |
