The Mariposa Support Group is a continuum of the Compañeras Program. It is designed to help women lessen postpartum depression by identifying their strengths and work through challenges through the gifts of our planet, ancestors and the arts.

There is no cost to join the support group and we encourage pregnant women and current mothers with babies up to 10 months or still crawling to attend. For more information on the Mariposa Support Group, please call Alexandra at (415) 320-5931.

In order to be able to offer this opportunity to a larger audience, child engagement is key!

We need volunteers who love to play, sing and read stories with children up to age 5. Volunteers must have some competency speaking Spanish. We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6pm-8pm at Marin Health and Wellness Connection Center, 3240 Kerner Blvd. San Rafael, Room 110. The ideal candidate would be available once per month. This would be a great opportunity for students!
